Here's the link, the comment is on page 3.
It doesn't look like a Mustang, therefore it should not be used. They're called stock cars, people! They should at least look stock.

I have 3 cats, I'm fluent in Morris code.

i have to agree.

but safety on circle tracks with tight walls is what it is.. not going change..

i follow everything with a motor that races, and i do go to nascar events..

button finished 7th. braun is slipping?

the point is racing is racing. some is better than others. and well. f1 is interesting for the first time in years..

tk was on fire this weekend.. you guys need to know about moto gp?

and if you dont know what i am talking about, i would not judge.

just wondering.

^ See, I translated that so well, people are agreeing with me!

I read that Chevy and Dodge will soon be using Camaro and Challenger headlight sticker on their cars, so soon it will be battle of the muscle car headlight stickers! Well, NASCAR does own the Rolex series, so I can't hate too much.

Getting stuck in those narrow seats, between a bunch of strangers for 3 hours sounds too much like a baseball game to me. I'll just sit at home, in a nice comfortable chair, with reasonably priced snacks and intermittently watch a race.

I just hope NASCAR doesn't try and influence the rest of the Grand-Am assets such as the other 5 series within Grand-Am...ie the KONI, Ferrari Challenge, Shell Historic, SunTrust Moto GP, and Mustang Challenge. Would be a shame to see these fall prey to the ol NASCAR ways.

BTW, it's pretty ghey of Chevy and Dodge to run the sticker scheme...I always loved spec class racing.

I am a NASCAR fan - and living in the midwest, that's not an easy thing to be. I have gotten to go to about a race a year for the last 5 or 6 years. I think it's probably among the least understood "sports" around. I have a friend who didn't much care for it and I took him with to the July 4th race at Daytona this year and he loved it. Seeing a NASCAR race live is really what sucks you in - it's tough to only have ever seen the TV stuff because the commentary is often so bad and the intensity of speed, noise, and energy at the track just can't be captured.

I find it very interesting to hear other sports fans say "its just guys driving in circles" since NASCAR actually changes the structure of its racing surface more than basketball, football, hockey, or baseball ever change the structure of the court/field/rink. It's not about the venue in any sport really - since in most sports the playing area is always the same (Can you believe the hoops just stand still and court is the same rectangle for the WHOLE game!?), it's about what the participants are doing - and most people just don't know enough about driving to really appreciate what happens on a racing surface - oh well. Just my .02

Oh yeah - I also think it's silly the mustang is coming to NASCAR - though the concept of stock cars being stock anything died a long time ago anyway...
