All-new Mazda CX-60 PHEV to be new flagship in European SUV line-up
2.5l plug-in hybrid with over 300 hp, the company’s first PHEV
Leverkusen, 8 February 2022. Making its debut on 8th March 2022, the all-new Mazda CX-60 PHEV is the first of two new models from the company's Large Product Group* that will be introduced throughout Europe during the next two years.
The CX-60 PHEV demonstrates Mazda’s commitment to a multi-solution approach to sustainable mobility and the principal of the right solution at the right time. It will be joined in the future by the CX-80 which will feature three row seating.
The Mazda CX-60 PHEV will spearhead the European introduction of plug-in hybrid models with a powertrain which combines a 2.5 litre, straight-four gasoline engine with a performance-enhancing electric motor resulting in a power output in excess of 300 hp.
Mazda’s first PHEV powertrain will offer smooth, efficient and powerful acceleration giving the driver greater confidence and driving enjoyment in the widest possible range of driving scenarios.

I'm excited to see where some of this new hybrid / EV tech goes for Mazda. I think it makes sense to focus on the SUV segment since it is the largest seller for Mazda (here in the US, not sure about EU) but as the tech improves I'm sure we'll see it making it down to other mazda vehicles.
SUVs are booming in EU. You want to float in the industry? Better have a range of suvs. This has the potential, let's see how it fares against the French German juggernauts. Cx-7 had a good run,.still see a lot of them on the road.

The KH is the confirmed vehicle ID for CX-60 (not sold in USA), so Mazda has continued with Platform ID as previously.
For CX-60 the KH may or will change depending on engine and or other addons like Plug In, model ID like KJ or KL.
Current CX-5 in 2012 when all new started with KE model, then facelift went to current KF and Diesel engine KG CX-8.
So what will US Alabama MTM made CX-50's ID be?, I do not know at the mo.
All new CX-70 maybe ET ?
New CX-80 maybe KK ?
New CX-90 I am thinking TD
