Audi TT-RS Spyshots... 370Z clone?
TT: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/30/a...pecs-leak-out/
I honestly thought it was another shot of the 370z before reading the heading.
Z: http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/nis...spy/1003940300
I mean I know there are differences with the Zed's odd headlights and the front dam (not to mention the Audi symbol) but somebody should sue somebody. Hell the specs are even similar with both supposedly putting down around 330hp.

I could be way off but the tt kind of had that shape before. I guess some of the more specific details are closer but everyone is starting to change their look and there seem to be a lot of common details between newer designs. On my phone right now so I'll get a closer look later tonight.

pretty much.
i'd take the audi on its name if i could afford it. man.. its a sad day when the germans are copying the japanese. :/
actually, just like the honda s2000 its quite possible that nissan stole the plans to audis next coupe and then released it faster. industrial espionage is big business, honda stole the plans to the bmw z3. maybe nissan stole the design sketches of the audi?

Since I am such a Z car fanatic, even though I hate the 350Z with a passion and think its the worse Z car out of the Z line up, bet you guys never knew the designer of the 350Z had a love affair with the Audi TT which came out in 1998, he personally told the press that he wanted to build a better looking Audi TT, which is why the 350Z looks the way it does. I have to go through my material to show you guys the press statement or you could just look it up yourself on the internet.
If the same designer that had did the 350Z is doing the 370Z , it wouldn't surprise me to see some of the styling cues from the TT showing up on the Z .
IMO I like the newer 370Z over the TT, but if I was in the market for a upcoming sports car , I would be looking at a Porsche Cayman S.

Except for both being black test mules, I see very little resemblance. Audi TT basic shape was been established for years and years and Z car's basic shape has been established for many more years and years. If any of the Z's looks like a TT it would be the 350, most evident in this early pic:
Anyone remember this 1999 design proposal? I'm glad that wasn't approved but now you can see the rear of the roof line (which comes from the original) on the 370Z is similar:
