Auto industry recovering?
Just saw the news today. Ford posted a profit of $2.3B for the second quarter. Also, their quarterly sales figures are up $2.4B over last quarter.
Not that everything is rosy just yet since sales figures for almost all car companies are still low compared to last year, but I think there's a good chance the industry has already bottomed out and is now moving towards recovery.

well Ford was forced into bankruptcy a few years earlier than the recession.
So in place of that route they refinanced, restructured, and prayed the Mustan would work.
Without the new Mustang they would be in the same boat.

they definitely sell a lot of mustangs. But so far I've only seen 2 on the road. I've seen a few more camaros actually. Either way, they did something right. I can't say I'm a huge fan of ford, but it's good to see they might be turning things around a bit.
