If money was no issue then definitely Viper, but I'd wait for the coupe.
Taking cost into consideration, then probably Vette. Realistically, probably none of us would really be able to realize the full potential of either car anyway.

I don't like american cars, and I am starting to not like people from Toronto either.

If I can take the price difference and put it into mods for the Z06 that would be my choice all the way. If it's stock for stock one or the other, Viper here I come.

I'd save my pennies and go for the GT, or maybe for about 90,000 I could have an NSX that would blow the doors off everything, it being a superior japanese car and all seriously though, I love the new C6, but if I could have any vette it would have to be a '63 split window, I just love those cars. I saw a new viper on the road a few weeks ago, it was breathtaking as well.

I love the Viper and Vette...but if I was rich I'd go with the Vette, it's the best sports car in the world. Price Vs Performance...nothing can touch it!
I still love the Viper...don't get me wrong!

The new 2005 C6 costs about as much as the typical SUV, so no need to be rich

I'd take the vette because of the easier daily driveability compared to the viper. But of all the vette's my heart belongs to the 63 split-window, fuel injected - no carbs for me.
