Best automatic?
I've seen people on here saying auto RX8 is waste of money, its not quick, etc. so what would you prefer for the auto under like $25,7K? G35c and 350z definetly are fugly imo. SO which ones do you think are really worth?

Why don't you test drive an automatic RX-8 before you blindly follow what everyone else tells you? I've got an auto RX-8 and, while I'd rather have a manual, I think the car feels plenty quick, especially in the high rev ranges. It's not a waste of money just because someone tells you it is. In fact, I find it to be an outstanding value for the money and won't be having Mazda buy it back.
Also, I've got a G35 coupe automatic and I really feel that the automatic RX-8 is a much more fulfilling driving experience (well, as fulfilling as one can expect from an automatic). While the G35 has gobs of torque and is wickedly fast, the handling and interior disappoint me. My only complaint with the RX is its fuel economy.

Better fuel effieciency, more power at the wheels, possibly more reliable, comes standard with leather-sunroof-zenons and bunch of more features. RX8 has big advantage in handling and styling, but $25,7K for base model while you can get fully loaded TSX with everything at about $26,5K. I mean after all, TSX might be even quicker than RX8. 5 speed auto with 200 horses. ....possibly.

Remember that the TSX is gonna have similar powertain loss to the auto 8, putting it in about the same horsepower & torque class. My Prelude makes about the same torque and horsepower as the TSX and the RX-8 feels faster, despite what the numbers would suggest. Granted, the prelude has the older VTEC as opposed to the TSX's i-VTEC but I would assume the experience would be similar.
Bottom line is this: Test drive them both, and buy what fits you best. The TSX may well be a better car for you. Perhaps not so to the next guy. But you can't just play the numbers game when car buying. If the money is a concern for you, the TSX is probably a better bet due to the lower cost of entry and fuel economy. But when you come down to it, it's still an Accord -- a damn good one, but it's still designed to be a family sedan. The RX-8 is a family sports car

I would without a doubt go with the automatic 2003/4 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in that price range. Yes they are MSRP of about $29K but there are two dealerships I know of first hand that have them for between $23K to $25.9K. They are very fast and very brutal. The 4sp automatic will smoke the tires in first and makes a really loud chirp going into second. Forget about the 5sp manual, it'll smoke them out in first, again in second, screech them in third, and forth will chirp them. The automatic Mach 1 will do the 1/4 in 13.8 sec, and the manual will do it in 13.5. There is an article in 5.0 Mustang magazine in a recent issue where they got the automatic running 11's with a few mods. Hey think of it this way - it has that cool shaker hood, awesome sound system, and also a deafing exhaust note.
The hp for the 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is 305, and for some reason the 2004 is 310 hp. I am seriously considering getting the Mach 1. I am cross between the Mach 1 and the new 2004 Audi TT 3.2.
Oh btw.... according to some of the members over at the Mach 1 Registry forums, which I am also a member of, the ones that also own the '03 Cobra along with their Mach 1's are a little dissatisfied with it due to its rear independent suspension that kills its strait line preformance with the 390 hp.

I hate mustangs. I dont like them. Total Garbage to me. I would rather find used corvette AT than mustang. But then again, I dont like interiors of american cars that much. CTS has nice interior, but it's too bling bling. I would just like to know 0-60 and 1/4 mile of AT RX8 so that I can know how slow or how fast it is.
