Best rotary-powered anything?

What do you guys think the best rotary-powered machine in all existence? Personally, I love the Cosmo 110S. The first, and perhaps one of the most beautiful cars Mazda ever came out with .

1) Mazda 787B 4 rotor LeMans winning racecar

2) Star Mazda Formula Cars - 1090lbs, 240hp RENESIS

3) RX-7 FD3S Series 8 (1999-2002) - One of the most beautiful cars ever, well over 300hp (officially "280hp" according to Japanese convention), and the reliability problems of earlier models solved. Sadly, only available in Japan.

Hmmmm, I'm thinking of three particular grafts that I have seen and lusted after. The first was a Datsun 1600 (that's a P510 to you yanks) with a 13B. Went like a cut cat, and had bags more handling than my RX-3. Second was a real Frankenstein job: another guy Down Under used to race an original Mini with a PP 12A shoehorned into the trunk, driving the rear wheels! Fun, fun, fun!

But most recently, there's a guy in the Southwestern Division of the SCCA who autocrosses an Austin-Healey Sprite with a 13B. In fact, I heard recently that it's up for sale - if I had disposable income and wanted a weekend toy, I'd be seriously tempted.

I want a rotary powered lawnmower. I think there are rotary powered chainsaws as well. I saw pics of these from someone's trip to the Wankel museum in Germany.

Are you talking about the John Deere lawnmower? I once read an SAE tech paper in which a graduate student, I can't remember where, used a John Deere rotary engine for GDI use. What were the results of the findings? Increased power, torque, thermal efficiency, fuel consumption. It was great. Unfortunately, the file was only in microfiche in my school library's basement . Ultra-lean combustion rules.
