droool... i like the rear a lot better than the sedan. after it gets some mag reviews id seriously consider trading in for one of these.

幹他媽!
hmm... the front looks okay. but, overall, the new design really doesn't make my heart pump anywhere near the way it did back in 1998 when they first re-designed the 3... the angles on the new models look forced, un-natural, and just not very fluid. the rear tail lights still don't look right either. the specs sound great, but i'm sure with a sky-high price tag to match.

twin turbo 6.. reminds me of the good old days of the bi-turbo S4's, those where hot, forget this new V8 non-sense. and this is AWD, even more like it.
And i think its still way out of the Evo/STi's leauge, even if the performance is similair. Theres a thing called class that those two pervious cars sevearly lack.
EDIT i just looked at the other pics and comon... that seatbelt thing is cool..., definetly could work without it, but its still really cool.

Not bad looking at all. Hopefully they've tuned the suspension apart from the e90 330 sedan, because the suspension on that car had some major body roll.
Can't compare these two breed of cars (STi/Evo vs. M). Performance may or may not seem similar, but completely built for very different reasons. Magazines will continue to run comparison tests against rockets from the other German manufacturers (C-Class AMG, RS/S4). Can't wait to see the //M version though.

Bummed, but bring on OU!
Looks like an ugly G6 mated with an ugly G35 sedan to me, but I'm in the Chris Bangle should die camp .

Germans are very particular about all things, including grammar.
I never knew what a dangling participle really was, but if I could have it be anything, it would be that second line.

With a V8 under its hood, the E90 M3 will weigh a ton. But I bet it will look really sharp in M cladding. Yet another cool car to look forward to.

not bad....not great either.
There are too many lines that don't know where they are going...without purpose. I've always liked BMW's but with every new style they come up with it seems they find a way to...ummm, confuse things.
They take a handsome style and somehow think a bunch of lines running over it in all sorts of directions (again with no purpose, that the lines know of at least) equal making the car more aggressive.
Again, it's still handsome because the lines can't mess it all up...but I just don't agree with the strange use of lines on the car.
