Bummed, but bring on OU!
Well, BMWs may not be designed for drag racing, but any 330hp car (of that weight) that pulls low 13s in the 1/4 mile is in fact a pretty damn good drag car.
Whether the 335 can hang around a road course, remains to be seen. I imagine alot of the tech from the E46 M3 went into the suspension of the 335, so it could be suprisingly close.

What is the first thing people on this site say when someone tells them XXX car is faster in a straight line?
It's that the car is about more than straight lines.
You're dumb.

I came here to post about the newest coupe from germany about to hit, and it was going fine til YOU came with the bullshit. Well, its cool, maybe things'll get back on track, maybe not, so long as ******* like you live on this board.

幹他媽!
the 335i starts at low $40k's, yes... but, in reality after you add-on a couple of luxury and/ or sports options (premium package, sports package, navi, premium audio etc.) you're easily pushing $50k otd... (not to mention the usual bmw dealership bs add-ons.) also, most bmw dealers aren't going to order base model 335i's, because in that price range most buyers are looking for comfort, luxury, and performance- ie options.
so... for that much money, u might's well fork out a few more bills, get an m3 and get to be a "real" m3 *****- instead of a paying almost as much and only getting to be a "wanna be" m3 *****... LOL
