I also saw $4.41 today at shell.
Will this be a repeat of 2008, when the prices went up to $4 at the beginning of summer and then dropped down by fall? I sure hope so.
I feel like the economy will take a huge downturn since people wont want to spend money on anything else. Maybe then prices will come down?

Of course the price of gas went up, it's because the price of oil is dropping.

My sister called a week ago, said she is paying about 5 dollars a gallon in switzerland.

Here 91 Octane is running about 4 dollars a gallon in my neighborhood. I am heading out today though to get some 100LL which will run me about 7.80 a gallon. This is down about 25 cents from my last fill up.

$4.6~$4.7 here for some time, premium 93. CT usually always is one of the states to have highest gas prices unfortunately.

It was $3.79 on the way home last night. $4.15 this morning. Of course 93 octane is about $0.30 more/gal so we're well on our way to $5/gal fillups.

Rode the bike into work again this morning. I figure my bowl of cereal was around $0.50 or so, and it powered me the full 12mi into work. :D :D

I would bet that they are paying 8.00$ USD a gallon or more!

So any of you chaps from the Mother land would like to post in US dollars and in US gallons I would like to know

Or Canadian dollars and in litre .. up to you

$9.42USD per US gallon here.
$11.32USD per UK gallon. OK, the price per amount is the same, but it still makes you cry at the pumps...

Especially at 3mpg.

It's a good job BP have stopped selling their 102 premium at the end of last year, as that would have worked out at around $20 per US gallon...
