Be careful on the road this rainy season

Another RX8 lost. Luckily, the driver was not seriously injured.

Hard to tell, but it appears he was going too fast for the conditions.
His tires were probably worn too.

I saw that a few weeks ago. Notice that he appears to also be missing his crash bar. Not the smartest of drivers.

speed is always bad in inclement weather; i have 245 sized nitto nt555's; i don't drive over 40 in rain and take great care in turns, or i drive the DD. It would appear driver was speeding, too.

been there,done that

I hydroplaned a few months ago & narrowly missed an accident. Speed was not a factor however. I was going about 30 mph on a freeway onramp. It was raining heavily so I was being cautious because if the roads are pretty wet my RX tends to slip a bit. Just as I merge onto the freeway I pressed the accelerator to speed up a little and suddenly my rear swung to the left pointing me towards the semi in the next lane. I released the gas,but did not brake, & steered the car to straighten it but that didn't work of course because I was on top if water not asphalt. Then the rear swung right, attempted to steer again, swung sharply left again and then the car did a complete 180 before I was able to control it. I hit the brakes & sat in the middle of the right lane facing oncoming traffic. Luckily, the semi kept going so when I released the gas the car slowed enough to avoid hitting it. And doubly lucky for me traffic was extremely light. No cars were behind me & those in front drove away. Since the car stopped I saw 3 cars coming towards me one in my lane so a turned my hazards on & flashed my lights. Car merged over & they drove away. I slowly turned the car around and snail crawled to the next exit & drove home. The car was undamaged & other then having the crap scared out of me I was okay. I now hate driving in the rain & avoid it but I will I just take it very slow & carefully even if other drivers get pissed. I have anxiety issues now when roads are slick but I still love my car & it's awesome in the summer!!!

That's exactley what happened to me on the 10 freeway.

Spun a 180 and looked up to see a 18 wheeler panic. Never fear! Cranked the wheel, spun another 180 and headed slowly to the edge of the road. Saw the same road sign and cranked the wheel. Missed the sign, but they just started a two foot high cement curb.

Wacked that and bought the 3000 GT.

didn't want to deal with fixing the damage.

Really i have too shocked in this reason i think drive very careful and not much speed you should control at your drive and staring if you have fast speed you can't control your drive
