Are you talking about a custom installed carputer or the factory installed navigation? The factory navigation is far from being a carputer.

Excuse my improper terminology. No its the factory navigation system. I think its fead from the room fuse. I found it was disconected on the back of the display unit. And I finaly got ahold of the guy I bought it from, and a dealership unplugged and told him it was the sourse of the draw that was apparently killing the battery after 3 hrs or so. Thats all I have so far. I've considered tracing the power wire and putting it on a relay to accesory side of ignition. But this would only work if I did the whole key on to accesory for 6 seconds before everytime I fire up the car, due to the nav system reading first voltage and not getting confused. II'm not doing anything with it till I know more though. I am curious as to how a short in that nav system could compleatly drain a battery in 3 hours though.
