Cayman S or Z4 M coup
if you had the money, which one would you chose? and why?
i'm still not sure. part of me says the only porsche to buy is the 911, but that cayman is tempting.
also, doesn't the Z4 M coup outperform the Cayman?

I love the Cayman, I test drove one in NM and it took all the will power I had not to pick it up (not in the mood to spend $800/month on a car). I hate to say it, but when I got back in my 8, I was kinda bummed.

the cayman hands down...Z4 M looks amazing too. Tell ya what make the decision on whether or not you want a convertible. 330 HP in that Z4 is hard to say no too, and in the current form the cayman is faster around the nurbugring than the 911. M'eh get both

I'd be leaning towards the M coupe, though it's hard to say since it's not out yet. I don't like the looks of the Cayman, and if I were going to spend the money I'd save some money and just get a Boxster S.

I would chose a Porsche over a BMW anyday of the week. Even though I don't really like the look of the Cayman. Yes, it's a great performer......but is that the reason you RX8 owners would want it? That seems to smack in the face of the EVO/STI vs RX8 debate. Looks vs performance. I wouldn't care if the Cayman was waaay faster around Nurenburgring then the 911......the 911 is a waaaay better looking car.

the Z4M weights in at 3200pounds, thats quite a lot for a small car. But if you are comparing it against the cayman, I would choose the BMW

Looks are subjective. I like how the Cayman looks compared to the Z4 and the 911. You're the other way around. Although I would venture to say most people in the market for a sportscar do not think the EVO/STI are good looking cars.
The very fact that I would choose the Cayman (a slower car) over the Z4 does fit as an RX8 owner.
