I see all these beautiful sports cars but cant help wonder what the heck is Toyota doing we know Toyota has no plans to bring back the supra. This year I think is the last year for the mr2 and celica. Why has Toyota turn its head away from the sports car market? And that econobox scion tc is that thing suppose to be a sports car.

Beautiful car, especially the interior!
But to be honest, I'm starting to get tired of all the retro design. I don't know why, but it's becoming too much, especially from american car makers (if you consider Chrysler 100% american, that is - this prototype could be based on a Mercedes platform as well, being the SL version of the Crossfire SLK conversion). I mean, this is a really, really, really nice car, but could be please have something else then "back to the sixties" in the near future?
Toyota Volta was concept I liked.

i pwn therefore i am
Since we're all soon to be banned for mentioning the x-fire, we're going to need another Chrysler product that embodies the passion of this forum. The Firepower could just be that car and rumors have it coming to production after all.

No offense directed to anyone that adores the design of the Firepower, but am I the only one who thinks this is a blatant copy of the Viper. Is originality dead nowadays?

lol. read the thread. lotsa people think it looks like a viper..
either way, they should've made the ME412 and not this piece.
nice thread resurrection anyway.

man how old is this? I can remember reading about this car in C&D prob. I think almost 3 years ago. It's basically a detuned viper in drag, big whoop.
And the "!" was a misprint in the name.

The Crysler ME-12 weighs only 2888 with 850 horses at the crank
my goodness can you imagine it with a 3 rotor turbocharged to 800 at the wheels?!!!!
it would weigh what 2650?
