He bought it from a dealer who imported it about 20 minutes from us. Had 60k miles, he got it for $42,500. Bone stock. Obviously new engine, no more back seats, and all this stuff. I'm not supposed to be saying this, but he shredded one of his friends 911 turbo. I wasnt there to witness, but I heard the 911 had absolutly NO chance from start to get go.
And if anyone is interested, that supra is all business too, He's pushing twin T88's from what I heard.

i think he means he bought it bone stock,
its obviously moderatly moded now. i think its pretty expensive to mod the rb26dett to 700whp, it can get to 1500+whp but this is the point where going any further would cost significantly more.

Nice but it costs a crapload of money to import. Canadians are lucky in this aspect, they can pretty much import anything >15 years old. Every time I go up to Vancouver, I see more and more R32's.

Edit: just saw a few posts above that this was already stated. Anytime anyone mentions Twin T-88's your talking 1600-2000 hp which that supra isnt.

You guys sound like you guys are right, that's why I said 'I heard' twin t88's. To be honest I have no idea what that is, but when I was there that's what they told me. I can careless. My older brother had supra for awhile and he also told me that was impossible so when I run into them again, I'll have to talk to them about the BS they said.

WOW - your friend just wasted a lot of money. In a year the new skylines are going to be out, and he can probably get a new one for similar to what he paid for his R33... with warranty and all the new technology.
Im suprised anyone is still buying the older GTRs at these ridiculous prices now that its confirmed a new model is coming to the US.

Negative. The new GTR's price will range from high 50's to perhaps low 70's. It is a 911 fighter and will be priced as such. I look HEAVILY into waiting getting one before baby two was created..... Nissan wants it to be cheaper than the C6 Z06 but they still have to make money on it of course with all of its technology. Who knows what the dealers will mark the price up to however...
