I loved that car ever since it's inception. Good work, GM and Ed Welburn.

Don't know if youre kidding, but, the '09 CTS-V is estimated to weigh 4200-4250 lbs... about 400 lbs heavier than a GT-R

What would be the time for the RX8 at Nordschleife? Somewhere around 8:40?

i liked the original cts, this one is uglier.

the only GM car that doesnt look like *** is the corvette.

american car companies are shitty designers.

I'd definitely hit it. The online pics don't do it justice. This is one of those you have to see in person and drive to truly appreciate.

That's awesome. Love how the exterior looks too. Thing is, does it still have the craptastic electronics and build quality?

according to yahoo the regular cts is 3861, hard to believe the V version which is supposed to use lighter materials would be ~400lb more.

Did anybody else notice all the chalk graffiti on the track? Looks like some german kids were playing hopscotch.

Would suck if a car came flying around the corner when they were playing on the track.

Exactly. Love the CTS-V and love what GM has done with Cadillac in general.

Scroll to the bottom...
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...fications.html

Most estimates are between 4200 and 4250 lbs.
I guess we'll see when the official road tests come out...

What would the time for the GTO be? A 9:50?

Thats if it could brake in time to slow down after the "big " jump to make that fast but sharp right hand sweeper.

Got to drive a buddies GTO the other day ,the 400HP one, and let me tell you that car is scared of turns, love to go strait very fast, but hates the turns.
I can see why people like them, for the speed, but after that, its very hard to find any good points about the car. If i had my option to buy a GTO , i would go and buy a 405 HP Z-06 instead, this way you get your speed fix and your handeling fix, and the c5 Z-06 looks way better looking than the Goat.*cough* souped up cavalier* cough*

On another note, the CTS-V is a amazing sedan, next to the E55/63 AMG, CLS55/63AMG and C55/63!

On another note, Congrats to the CTS-V, that is one heluvva sedan.... One of my favorites next to the E63, CLS63 and C63, all amazing sedans!

My daily drive doesn't remotely resembles the Nurburgring. So this number means squat. Again to many variables, how many times did they practise? wait for perfect weather and track condition, driver experience, car tuned for this track etc....
Styling is horrible. Only nice GM good looking car is the 'vette. The Solstice/Sky don't look to bad either.
