The service manager there at the dealership said I should wax it asap. So they sprung in a free wax job and paint protectant. I thought the same thing but, I guess the Subby paint is so damn bad they took their chances. It looks fine to me... for now.

body shops, on the other hand, don't have the same equipment (or aren't willing to strip the car down so much as to put it into one of the OEM-style ovens) and so when you have stuff repainted, then you indeed oughta wait as the paint cures.
