Diesel created from Water and CO2
Audi engineers have successfully made diesel fuel from carbon dioxide and water - ScienceAlert
Talk about renewable fuel. This has huge potential.

Might be a way to solve some of the Electricity storage problems associated with the Solar energy industry. They could make this fuel when the sun shines and burn it at night

Yeah. Most of the automotive energy issues are with simply storing and carrying the energy. Be itgasoline, diesel, LPG, batteries, hydrogren fuel cells, etc... A liquid is simply the fastest to refill, has a higher energy density, easy to transport, etc... Fabricating the complex hydrocarbons in this way is hugely advantageous.
Especially if it is more efficient (I expect because there is less contaminates, more pure?), and less poluting. Granted, it's still diesel, but that isn't a bad thing.
