Drained battery

Drained battery
Ok, I am a real moron. Must have left the lights on all day on my Ford, and the battery appears totally drained. My key fob won't operate the door locks, and when I turn the ignition to the second position, I get nothing from the engine at all.
The battery is only a couple of months old. Should I expect the battery to be ok and the car to start simply by using booster cables, or will I have to replace the battery yet again? I am letting it sit overnight (with the lights turned off) and will address it in the morning. I've never done this before, so forgive me for the noob question.
I would bet if I did this in my 8 there would be no chance of starting. Although it would have been a great opportunity to get the stronger replacement battery in there.

Battery should be OK but you proabably shortened the life some. It probably won't gain much charge sitting all night, if at all. You need to jump it and take it on a pretty long drive to re-charge it or put it on a charger. Good luck

Thanks for the advice scottmhr1. I am just glad to hear that I will not have to replace the battery again. I will try and give it a boost tomorrow morning and hope for the best.
The irony of it all is that the last time I drove my Ford was to move it out of the way so that I could get my 8 out of the garage for a morning drive. I am still trying to figure out why I turned the lights on though. It was not dark when I moved it this morning. Argh.
