living in oc i guess i see my share of exotics......but nothing stops me from drooling/chasing down any ferrari that passes into my sight.
p.s. if anybody believes me, i saw a porsche carrera gt (yes, THAT carrera gt) in silver trim on jamboree/405 in irvine. my eyes couldnt believe it at first, and it was too late for me to bust out my camera phone. the exhaust note was unreal......i wish i could describe it but my vocal chords cant really make the sick *** porsche music.

It's kinda strange how the more you see exotics everyday, the less they are exciting. Personally, the times I pass a Modena, Diablo, and other great cars, the feeling isn't as great as the first time I ever saw one running around. They have been pretty common where I work and to the places I go (ie. Santana Row) I have yet to see a Zonda, McLaren F1, and Elise. Now those cars I will need my camera ready.
I still get excited passing a Supra, FD, NSX, Viper, and RX-8! Yup, even after locking my 8 I still look back and get excited about it (can't wait for the next ride).

I saw a Diablo like a month ago and got all excited...and the last time before that was a ferrari last summer. We rarely get exotics here in Jersey.
It's weird because my neighborhood is surrounded by extremely wealthy neighborhoods. A handful of sports stars live like 5 miles from me and yet they never seem to buy exotics, just H2's and "pimp" them up.
haha...although what I think as "extremely wealthly" you people in CA think of as middle class

what i find funny where i live (fairly rich suburban community) is the ferrari/maserati dealership next to the supermarket, and the jaguar/aston martin dealership down the road between two supermarkets (granted one of these markets is a food source (posh supermarket)). Rich neighborhoods are funny, the RX-8 is in a niche, there are 4 times as many porsche 996s out here as RX8s so i get a lot of good looks. I guess exotic as a term depends on availability.
...sigh i want a porsche too

there are alot of highend cars around here too and i still break my neck to see them. coming from chicago i would be lucky to see an escalade. so far ive seen:
ferrari 375, 575, 360, and scaglietti
lambo diablo and gallardo
lotus esprit
gt3
maserati spyder
shelby cobra (maybe replica or kit car?)
bentley arnage
that new boxy rolls royce
aston martin vanquish and db9
and then theres the usual benz's, lower model porsches, and alot of restored classics. let me tell you if ever there was a motivation to succeed in life, living around rich people is it.

Montreal during F1 week is exotic car central. All the Ferraris are out cruising around. There's usually a Ferrari parade. Porsche show and tell downtown, the odd assortment of Vipers, Maseratis, a couple of Lambos, etc....
If you like Ferraris, this weekend, there's the Ferrari meet up at Mont Tremblant.

For all I can tell that looks like a Lincoln Towncar.
About the Carerra GT exhaust, they have a clip on the Porsche sight, here is a link, the exhaust sounds just unreal.

This is small town country here, not many exotics. However there are two Vipers, a Lingenfelter (don't know what stage) Corvette, an Aston DB7, and I saw driving through town once a 1961 Ferarri GTO, that got me excited, but I don't have a cameraphone and never take my camera with me when I drive.
