Finally Sold My 3000GT
So... it was a very painful day selling it, I loved that thing with all my heart. I've been very sad ever since . Sucks even more that I sold it at least $2Gs below what it's worth.
I love this forum, and here is why; everyone is so nice, respectful and HELPFUL. I joined the 3s site and it's all a-holes for the most part, one guy is telling me that I don't deserve my 3s or to be on the site because I'm not madly in love with it (which I am) and was selling it. I think I might find out where he lives .
Anyways, my 8 is doing great! Almost ready for it's first oil change. I haven't had a chance to do anything new to it since Alucard's install meet last month... hopefully soon though!
Here is the last pic taken of my 8 (I wanna do a mini-shoot this weekend to get some awesome ones) and the last pics taken of my 3s .

Aren't those rear aero flares? I'm waiting to buy Alucard's bumper whatchamacallits to complete it... haha.

Kelli,
I know how much that car meant to you, sorry to hear it's gone but now you have another new love in your life! The 8 truly is a great car and I think some day you'll love it as much as you did your 3.
Glad to hear you're enjoying your time here on the 8 club, this is a fun place full of interesting people, knowledgable gear heads, and the ocassional shenanigans (looks at Atilla)

the rear aero flares go just behind your rear wheel. it just helps the flow of the lines look consistant rather than just dropping out when you get to the rear. i still have to do something about mine too.

What paint did you use?
My buddy had an orange and slightly red 350z for about half a year from a caliper related incident.
But clearly, that wasn't his first mistake...

I forget what kind of paint it was... it was Mike's... but we were able to get it off, right after everyone took pics .
I have no idea why it was salvaged - I unfortunately learned that it was after I put it on eBay and they told me that I couldn't list it as "Clear." It was clear but the last electronic history on the car is from 2002 way before I owned it.
When is it? I'll definitely come out if it's in Philly ... I'll check it out. Whattya think, should I go for the OEM wing? I miss having one .

For the price, go with a MS wing...but that's my opinion.
Either one will interfere with the 'normal' position of your auto-dimming mirror, since incoming light from most cars behind you will put the shadow of your spoiler right over the light sensor on the mirror, and it won't dim. Most of us flip our mirrors upside down to bypass this.
A few get different wings

Flipping my mirror, eh? That's a new one!
It sucks, I got practically nothing for my GT - what all I did get went towards my loan .
I think eventually I do want a spoiler, I just can't decide right now..
