Today's race is nothing short of sensational. First Brazilian to win the Brazilian GP. Alonso clinches his second driver's championship in a row. Jenson Button climbs 11 positions to place 3rd. Michael Shumacher...I'm at a lose for words to describe his drive. He fell as far back as 20th to come back with the drive of his life to claim 4th. He can hold his head up high even though he didn't win the race. It's hard enough to pass an F1 driver, let alone 16. I have a much higher respect for the man.

^ Wait there is passing in F1?
Sorry had to make that comment. One of the reason's I dont watch much F1 to boring at times similar to Nascar, both are just to areo dependant. Though reading some of the post's it seems it was actually a exciting race with alot of passing (I'm assuming everyone was not just Shumacher). Nice to know that he had a great drive and didnt have a engine failer (again). I was out for most of the afternoon so I didnt even have a chance to watch it at all . I'm sure I'll see tons or replays of this on Speed tonight.

Its like hes making a point. Maybe for his next race he will be running with the same guys he was passing. Like he was seeing how good they are on the track. I dont know. But I cant wait to find out. \m/

I don't think we will see that happen. It was his last race.

[QUOTE=alnielsen]Knowing the way Villeneuve races, Jacques was probably blocking a pass and Schumacher was the faster car trying to pass. QUOTE]

umm...have you seen the footage of '97? several million people did, and it was a pretty obvious desperate move on MS's part. that's a move even the most ardent Tifosi have never staunchly tried to defend MS for.

That being said, his drive today in Brasil was spectacular; he'll be missed.

That was an astounding drive from Schumacher! Was hoping that he could at least get on the podium, but too bad for those intermittent technical problems during the race.

In a way, he left a much stronger impression of his great driving skills with this storming drive rather than just running away with the pole and win. I will definitely miss seeing him fighting for the wins next year.
