GM plant.

Looks like it's gonna be one sweet car. Can't wait to take a test drive.
I quickly became a Holden fan after buying my GTO. All I can say is if they put as much pride, quality and workmanship into the G8 as they did the Monaro and GTO they'll definitely have a winner.

^^^^Yes they do!
Edit...The TV news reporter said last night that if the G8 is too successful manufacturing may have to move to Canada as there will be capacity issues with the Elizabeth Plant here in my home state.

This is great news. One of my friends was looking at a CTS-V, but when he found out about the features and price point of G8 GT, he decided to wait for the Holden... er Pontiac.
I think it'll be winner, and I can't wait drive one.

Slowly trying to convince the GF to buy this as her next car haha.. "Come on hun it has 4 doors and a decent trunk."... "Oh shut up you just want it 'cause its rear wheel drive and has alot of power."... "Um.... damn.. "
The car does look nice but the Commodore face and name to me would of been a better bet. Soooooo sick of this "Corporate Grill" bullshyt, if the car is sucessful I see several swaps happening.

Like the GTO this looks like a really cheap POS. Not saying it's a bad car underneath but again, like the GTO they're gonna have a hard time selling a car that looks like it should cost half of what it does. GM should just bring the Holden cars over unmolested, and lay off about half of its Marketing staff.

Pontiac didn't even "create" the current GTO, they took the Holden Monaro which was already in production for a while and just brought it over to the states as a Pontiac. Thats why the GTO quality is simply amazing when compared to other US cars.
