GMC loyalty?

Gotta family with tons of gear & luggage? Hauling a boat? Exploring off-road? Drive an SUV.
But most people shouldn't have one.
The worst thing about them for me is how unsafe they are—to the people who drive them, and to everyone else on the road. It so makes sense that most people would "feel" safer in them—duh, they're big. Unfortunately, that bigness is all too often a license to be oblivious to your fellow drivers. (Is there anyone left out there who cares even a little about people who are not their family?) SUV's guzzle gas, making us more vulnerable to the Middle East powers that be. (Ok, so does my 8—but I only take it out weekends.) They're top-heavy and tend to roll over. They take forever to stop (though they're owners think they can stop on a dime). And if one's in front of you, it's hard to see around it and get the big picture of what's happening on the road ahead which, in turn, makes you a bad driver.
If it was up to me, it would be much, much harder to get a license—and keep it. (See "Germany: getting a driver's license"). But as long as clueless, cellphone cradling morons roam the highways, people will feel safer in SUVs. Just another example of the dumbing down of our country.

Get one of the brand new F250 Harley editions with the ghost flames on the bottom...I think those just look sweet. Or one of the Regency custom F250s, if they have those in your neck of the woods, I think they are just a regional custom shop though.
