Got an 06 STI to keep the RX-8 company (pics)
Hey -
Got an 06 STI last Saturday. Here are the pics:
Showroom cameraphone shot with stock gold BBS rims and Potenzas (sorry so blurry...):
Pics of the STI with ASA rims and Blizzak LM-25 snow tires:
...and here's a shot of my RX-8:

Thanks, thanks, and thanks! I'm looking forward to getting the STI broken in so I can push it a bit. The straight-line and turn-exit power at even half throttle, below 4K RPMs, is amazing.

Nice combo btw.
Nice combo btw.
FYI, I got those rims for $99 apiece at Tire Rack. I think they'll fit the RX-8. They are 17" x 7.5 ASA JH3 rims:

Very nice man. I have those rims on my 04 for winter driving. I did the same thing you did, only I did it back in 2004. Then I replaced the RX8 with an S2k, but you cannot go wrong with owning each of these cars. One gives you what the other lacks, and they compliment each other well. I certainly wouldn't mind owning an 06 STI. The car keeps getting better. Enjoy!!
