Wow that's massive. I can only get a 65inch to fit above my fire place. I will probably upgrade my bedroom TV next and I can go as big as I want. Then it will be time to switch to using the sim rig in my room.
I'm sure you guys have some kind of steering wheel setup?

I'm currently waiting for the next gen podium from Fanatec. Their current option is fairly old in their lineup, and the latest direct drive that is PS compatible and cheaper is a semi sidestep to my current clubsport v2.5 setup. I highly recommend getting a sim rig setup if you can, it really does change how racing games can be played.
Regarding a 65" TV, I have a curved 55" atm.. and find that you have to be back a few feet in order to make it a comfortable experience. I think I'm about 2-3' away from the TV on average.
My current setup which unfortunately isn't PS compatible.

Thanks! This was my early pandemic purchase.. so I could go “racing” while we were in a 2 week lockdown.
Sony is weird… it’s a matter of licensing.. PlayStation is strict on their peripherals. This system works on PC and Xbox. In order for my system to be PlayStation compatible I’d need to upgrade my wheelbase which is $1200. I don’t want to spend that atm on a product that was released in 2018. I’m holding out for the upgraded unit with the updated direct drive motors. Behind the tv is a shelf that holds a series x and a ps5. So when I finally do pull the trigger it would be a quick upgrade to my rig.

Nice! I just do a desk setup with VR, but have a way to pin my PC chair in place. I have the CSL pedalset with the loadcell, and if I didn't pin my pc chair i'd just roll across the room at each brake point lol
Just got in my CSL DD with boost kit and the clubsport v2.5 wheel to and tried it out last night for the first real race. Going to be hard to get used to the buttons in VR but in due time.
Anyone still playing GT7?
I hadn't really played much this year but recently got back into it and still enjoying the game quite a bit .
Finally finished off the main storyline and now have a few extra cafe pages I'm working on.
For anyone who hasn't picked up the game looks like it's on sale this week. $42 on Amazon.
I’m pondering getting into this with you guys. What Warrior777 built is an inspiration and something I could accomplish (pays to have been a pipe layer construction type guy). Question is - better to have VR headset or monster size screen?
