Gt-r
I visted my grandma at the old folks home just outside of Ann Arbor, MI for mothers day today. When I came out car and driver's GT-R was sitting in the parking lot near my galaxy gray shinka. Their GT-R is almost the same color. If I had to choose on looks alone, I would still own my RX8; it's a beautiful car even next to the $70+ car every one is drooling over these days.

I pulled up next to a 360 spider 2 weeks ago at a stoplight and while I'm drooling over his car, he asks me 'what kinda car is that? That looks nice!'. I felt pry good drivng off

On looks alone, the GTR is pretty ugly. If you showed both the GTR and RX8 to someone who has no idea what either is, they'd probably go with the 8. On looks alone, the 8 has it beat.
On performance? You'd be insane to even consider the 8 for a second over a 480hp "supercar".

I was definitly talking about looks alone.
Ann Arbor, MI is the home of Car and Driver. This was a left drive version and had Car and Driver stickers on it.
Sorry about the pictures, didn't have my camera or phone with me . Oh well, maybe it will happen one day.

I also prefer the looks of the 8, but I would be lying if a straight up swap would not tempt me. Temptation would fade when I consider...
a)automatic trans (nothing against its fancy transmission, I just prefer a manual)
b)it probably does not feel as good as the 8 on the road (I'll never know)
c) I would quickly lose my license to speeding tickets

I just dont think it looks as aggressive as it performs. Other than that I think this car is going to make a lot of jaws drop.
*** I worked for Nissan for a long time, Ive seen some videos on this car that blew my mind****

Seen something on here awhile back it puts over 500hp down. Car and driver said it tops out at 191 with a 0-60 3.3. Hopefully theyll have it on Top Gear, if any of you watch that. Also though i heard Nissan designed it where you couldnt add mods :\ Im sure ppl will find a way around this though.

Just an FYI, that's most likely the car C&D just got done competing in One Lap of America with.

That "slap-stick" trans has been proven time and time again to be alot faster than the standard 6-speed. This was nissan's mindset, as was ferrari's, lambo, etc. The next series of 911's will be paddle shift.
