omg, that's awesome! I'll glady wait a little longer for a better product.
600 cars and 96 tracks is going to make for one hell of a game. I just wish those of us with the Prologue would get a discount on the full version.
Any word on crash damage? I remember hearing a while back that Ferrari was opposing the idea of having their cars show any crash damage.

Huge hole is huge
I'd love crash damage. That's one of the things that saddened me from Prologue.
I'm not too sad on the length of time for release. I'll be busy with Street Fighter IV and EVE for a while. But of course, when StarCraft II is released, that PS3 is going to get VERY dusty.

Well I am glad that it's not coming out for a while yet - it means I'll get to keep my job a bit longer and stay out of the poor house, because if my GT4 experience is any indication, this game will consume me.

But still, 600+ cars is a lot.

You better extra hope they don't pull the same crap the Forza guys pulled - for Forza 2 they had "42 track layouts," which actually amounted to 12 unique tracks. I was (and still am) super disappointed in Forza's track selection. Hopefully GT will actually have more than a paltry dozen tracks.

Happy to hear about the cars and tracks, I never felt like there was a lack of cars or tracks in GT games. I think the AI needs serious work along with collision that has more realistic penalties.
