How do you lace the ballast wiring through the headlight assembly?
I'm quite thankful for everyone's help as far as getting the front bumber off and where and what parts to get, but not I'm a bit stuck...
I had a crack in my headlight assembly and water leaked into the ballast and fried it. Bummer. Ordered new parts separately (couldn't find a new assembly with an attached ballast) and now I'm in a bit of a predicament:

As you can see in the first picture, the old assembly has the ballast laced through. The new one (in the second photo), not. The opening is far too narrow to simply shove the part through, so what should I do?
My initial thought was to stick the new assembly in the oven and open it up, lace in the ballast, and then stick it back in the oven to reseal. Problem with that is whether or not the oven heat (at 200-220 degrees) will destroy the ballast.
HELP!
Thanks!
