1986 VW Golf Diesel: 2 .5 years- 70,000 miles of driving (friend wrecked it)
1988 Mazda B2220 Pickup:- 9 years- 165,000 miles of driving (I wrecked it)
1987 Mitsubishi Starion- 13 years+ 72,000 miles of driving (Still own it)
1988 Dodge Grand Caravan- 10 months 23,000 miles of driving (died)
1995 VW Golf- 4 years- 73,000 miles of driving (traded it in for STI)
1988 Mitsubishi Starion- 3 years- 9,000 miles of driving (sold it)
1988 Chrysler Conquest TSI- 2 years- 19,000 miles of driving (tranny blew)
2004 Mazda RX8- 1 year- 9000 miles of driving (First new car)
2004 Subaru WRX STI- 6 months- 9500 miles of driving (Second new car)
Wow, I just added those up. I have driven a lot of miles over the years.
My other cars were gone due to age and reliability. Not to mention they were all virtually worthless by the time I got rid of them. I think the rx8 will be the car to go by 2007 for some kind of convertible. The STI I'll drive into ground as daily. My old starion I'll try and save up to have it repaired and restored since it's my first car.
