A hypothetical predicament.

Let's say you don't have a car. For whatever reason, your car is no longer around. You have $20,000, give or take, to buy another car. Used, new, doesn't matter, but convertibles are preferred, but you'll take anything sporty, really.

What'll it be?

(for those of you of above average intelligence, you may have realized this isn't entirely hypothetical)

used 325i with low miles + warranty, tsx, rx8, s2000, or 350z, mini cooper, or the ever so light and great handling toyota MR2 convertible

97-2001 C5 corvette is in your price range...but hey, that's just my advice because I'm doing the very same thing (sans convertible).

Find a good condition FD for +/- 15K and use 5K to mod it.
