I feel hardcore. You will notice that I have turned my cap backwards.
And now let's pop the lever and get under the hood of this bad boy.
Cheater turbo. I got mad powah, suckaz. Fear Me!

The only exterior indication on the PT turbo version is this badge on the back right. I supposed I could have sidled up to a Civic or two and given them a surprise. If I had a mind to do that.
(sorry for blurry camera work)

The PT is long gone -- almost forgot to write up my reactions:
High center of gravity. It seemed like I was riding very high off the ground for a car this size. I don't think it's a case that I was coming from the RX-8. I have a daily driver that doesn't sit that high.
Consequentially, I was always concerned about cornering. In any other car I have to remind myself "You're not in your Mazda" as I approach curves. In the PT, I was always aware because the thing felt like it was ready to roll over if given any speed into a turn.
Acceleration was okay. I rarely had a chance to push it, though I once had it to, umm, XX mph in a 65 zone when an idiot pickup driver thought he was just going to merge everyone into oblivion.
Verdict: Interesting experience for me because I was thinking about the Mazdaspeed 3, another FWD turbo. I'm sure the 3 would handle much better, though.
