There's a few little details I really don't like, for example the reverse Nike swoosh shaped side vent, but overall a bazillion times sexier than the GT-R.

I thought the LF-A was going to be in the $200k area, in that case GT-R still wins as does the ZR1.

Dead sexy. I'd consider it if it ends up being affordable.

I really like the front, but what the hell are the intakes for directly behind the doors, right above the waistline? I can imagine that perhaps the ones down lower are for rear brake cooling.

i bet it will be up in the low to mid 200k range in that case (like someone said already) you could buy a zr1 and a gtr mod em both and have 2 nice "legendary" cars instead of a toyota or lexus ... it is sexy but i wouldnt pay 200k for it ...

the price it self is pure speculation. Toyota never reveiled the price yet. i know we are basing it off the size of the engine, but look at Doger viper V10 price. its between 70k-80k

[QUOTE=alfy28;3240065]if you can , can you point to me where the car looks like a Celica, GTR and integra. i am having a hard time finding those areas of the car, that looks like the cars you mentioned. thanks

QUOTE]

You misquoted me. I said Celica GTR and Integra. The Celica GTR was the high end model with a more agressive body kit and spoiler. And I think the integra vibe is just the lights, reminds me of typical aftermarkets for those.

Lexus LF-A Testimonial at Press Event - Have another listen to the roar [Video]

I cant see the video, so i dont know if its the same video in this thread. if it is different, can someone post a link to youtube, so i can view it from my phone. thanks.

Only 500 unitis uh, looks like its going to be very expensive car, like the others in this thread pointed out.

http://www.worldcarfans.com/10910122...another-listen

Shortly after a stint on a track behind the wheel, Dutch motoring journalist and race-driving instructor Thomas Bangma has described the upcoming Lexus LF-A as "the best car I've ever driven". Mijnheer Bangma is a highly respected car scribe so there's very little reason to doubt his sincerity. The man has driven basically all modern cars considered supercar royalty. And he says none match up to the LF-A. Some endorsement.

During the clip he mentions how true collectors who know their cars and have machinery like Pagani Zondas, McLaren F1s and Porsche RSs in their garages would do themselves major justice by including the Lexus. He also lets slip that only 500 units will be built but that part was edited out by Lexus. While Bangma talks one LF-A just out of camera view screams down the main straight and then again a second time right on queue as he closes out his thoughts.

The LF-A looks set to be unveiled at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show next week. It's powered by a petrol V10 engine making what's said to be around 405kW (550hp
