John Shepherd - 7 sec w/ clutch and full glass
Independant racer form PA, the classic "little guy" vs. the corporate sponsored giants. Whats crazy is this is a 2.0L 4-cyl, 2600lb stock unibody car w/roll cage not a tube framer, stock body panels with full glass, running an ACT clutch (no sequential shifter), on a beefed up stock AWD tranny. He could still register it and drive it to events if he chose to. He runs a shop which sells his AWD dogbox transaxles and cylinder heads. I know he doesnt turn and has .7 more liters than us at 2.0L but a car guy is a car guy.

haha Im an old fart I guess Eagle Talon = rebadged Mitsu Eclipse (1990-1994) all wheel drive, running a 2 liter 4G63, forerunner of the EVO 8/9 motor, the last good looking car they dropped the 4G63 into.
Forged pistons, crankshaft and rods stock. check my sig I have one running low 12s with 206,000 miles that Ive never even taken the valve cover off of (all bolt-on goodness), Although I would grab an easy 30hp if I swapped out the cams, Im just too lazy.
notice he ran that 7.7 on measly 8 inch wide slicks and drove AROUND the water box--no burnouts with the factory all wheel drive.
