Japanese police cars!

When I was in Hokaido last year and rear ended a guy in Sopporo in my Mitsubishi Dingo... The Japanese police came and I had to be taken to my hotel to show my passport. (Didn't have it on me at the time) So on the ride back the Japanese cops don't get to speak to a American that speaks Japanese too often so they asked me about cops in America. The first thing they asked was if people ran away from the cops in America..I was like not if they are smart. Supposedly thats a big problem there and they are makeing moves to fix it!

 

Why do they all have bug deflectors on the hood?

 

Wow. Those cars make are Mustang and Camaro intercepters look like junk.

Are all cop cars in Japan like that, or is it just a few used for interception duty?


Also, I wouldn't be too envious of them. If America had those kind of cop cars that would mean we would have to worry about them.:D

No...all cop cars are not like that. Cop cars in Japan are these little boxes that are the same make as Japanese taxies.

The one I rode it when I was in Hokkaido didn't even have a grate to seperate me from the cops. I could have throtled them and taken the car and ran...(If I was a serious criminal).

They were saying that people run away from them when they try to pull people over and they get away cuz their cars are faster..

The cops don't even have guns.

 

I really need to start reading some post a little more closley. I tend to just skim the last sentence or two of the post.
