Wow -- a new low for reality TV, i watched 3/4ths of one episode. I'm not a fan of reality TV but it gives a nice "peek" (im sure you dont get the whole picture) at how car dealers work when you arent around.
The impression I got of this place was that they are pushy, and always trying to trap you into a sale. It was funny to see how everyone freaked out when a salesmen was like "oh they are trying to ditch, we gotta get em, hurry!"
If I was a customer on that lot, or any lot for that matter when someone tries to get me to stay after I said I'll be back another time thats a deal breaker there. All the people that got roped into buying a car in the episode seemed to be people that just walked up looking and got suckerd into signing the paper right then and there.
Another thing - it showed the summery of some of the payments these people were making. Someone had like a 700 dollar a month payment for a durango? Maybe I'm old fashioned but I would never walk into a dealership without a good chunk of money to put down.
Even though im only 24 I still belive that all the flashy gimmicks and stuff that fat dude was pulling at his place are kinda retarded. When I bought my RX8 from Freeman Mazda in Irving, TX I was rather pleased they didn't try to con me or push me into anything, I was serious about buying and I did.
The funniest moment in that show was when one of the mexican guys said to a customer "if you dont buy this car I gotta put on this dress and do a commercial, you wouldnt want to make me do that would you?" my response to that would be: "I'm not going to get sucked 30K into debt just so you dont have to wear a dress" and would have left right that because thats just a stupid thing to say to a potential customer that has any brains in their head.

That was a big thing on MTV they even used that dealer for an episode of Made. They took a Pastor who wanted to be in car sales and thats who tought him what and how to do it. So if youve ever watched MTV a lot like i do that is an old thing really.

HAHA, I caught this show last night and I couldn't stop laughing!!
I love how they couldn't get the guy into a Hummer so they pitch him a Durango!
Although, I love how the retard walked in and wanted a Hummer with ZERO down for under $700 a month!

^That guy was an idiot. Who the hell tries to buy a 40 something thousand dollar vehicle without a down payment?
When they tried to sell him a Durango he said "That's like me walking in to buy a Porshe and you try to slip me a Crossfire."
