Seriously, the Peugs can turn lap times 4 seconds faster than the Audis at 3.23s. The #7 which blew a tire earlier is now about 10 laps down from the leader. Give it a few more hours, we might see 4 Peugs up front. This car put the burners on after the set back and have been turning 3.24s consistently.

Does anyone else hate Sabastian Bordeaux as much as I do,,,,
He epitomizes the arogant snot nosed French frog,,,, Even if you watch last weekends F1 qualifying you heard how he is at odds with his own team,,,,

His team has had a pitiful year, partially due to his poor performance but toro rosso has always been a crazy team to work for. Remember when Franz Tost physically attacked scott speed a few years back? I always remember sebastian being pretty cool when he was in champ car...

btw sebastian bourdais just posted fastst lap with about 11 hours left.

Yes, completely out.
How about that timing? The Peugeot going off just as the TV feed ends.
How much you want to bet the rear deck came loose causing the wreck.

i dont hate he him, but his whinning attitude is annoying lol. btw when i heard he was driving, i was like oh here we go again, when will he crash the car . in fact every time when they announce he will be driving, i just pray for peagu

btw 20mins left. if Pegu wins, i was right in predicting that they would win , and that i can now quit my day time job and get into fortune telling .

Great race! Pugeot was dominant as expected, Audi had a few odd ball problems which surprised me. Congrats to Mazda for the 3rd place finish! Aston martin had superb looking P1 cars, maybe next year they will have a shot to win as the rules will allow petrol cars and diesel cars to be closer in peformance.

What a great finish for team corvette, what a way to finish there GT1 era! Sheded a tear or two for the team corvette ,they had a hellua run! Now it's time for the next challenge in the GT2 class.

Congrats to team Rissi Ferrari on there back to back le mans win! 1st and 3rd place finishes is awesome!

I woke up early to see the last hour and a half. I'm a pretty big Audi Racing fan but I do have to say that Peugeot deserved this win. Congrats to them for a great race. They could have won last year but unlike Audi they didn't make the correct tire call for when it rained and that's what cost them then.

Audi really hasn't shown the dedication this year that they have years past. They aren't contesting the LMS series in Europe and are really only entering a couple of ALMS events such as Sebring and Petit LeMans. They haven't really gotten their car out there much this year which is especially important when you have a new car. Peugeot has been really persistent with continual development of the 908 HDi and it looks really different than from 3 seasons ago when it debuted. They had a very different front end on the car for this event that seemed to route most of the air around the car rather than through it. Apparently they still have adequate cooling. Their intake and exhaust locations were very different from events past as was their intake manifold which is actually a pretty neat design internally.

Audi kept changing things on their car and the lack of testing this year has really shown. They were having cooling issues that caused them to have to pull some power back. If anyone saw the in car video from the Peugeot passing the Audi's on the back stretch, the power difference was very noticable. They also had understeer issues as well. Overall just not a very prepared car for this event.

There was mention of the1991 Mazda rotary win last night on the air and this morning was an interview with John Doonan about their current efforts. Mazda really seemed to have problems with the turbos on those engines. I'm not sure if they are still variable vane or not. I had thought they were banned on the gasoline engines under the rules but they ran them last year so who knows.

Corvette cracked me up. 15 minutes to the end and they had to wash the car so it was photogenic at the finish!

Great loser of the race. Lamborghini! You come to a 24 hour long race and can't even finish 1 lap without breaking. Wow!

Great race and a very great finish for Peugeot who really deserved it.

Yeah I was a bit dissapointed in Audi's lack luster attitude. Going off your past wins is unacceptable, they needed to test there car extensively for this race. There lack of practice showed in this race, shame on Audi.

sounds like ALns favorite team in F1. His favorite team likes to pit during Q1.

but jokes aside. i am not sure why audi is not into LMS this year. must be due to financial .

It was amazing to see the Mazda inline4s actually last a whole race....... Those things are SO fragile.

Congrats to Peugeot, they drove a really strong race.
