the only way we can win this is that the temp dips below 0 and the turbo will be smiling, we're the only ones with turbo!
anyways, 1:50 is quite impressive given last year's record, as RG said, the competition up front could possibly give us an advantage. There will probably be a lot of passings between the top LMP2 cars. If they could squeeze about two seconds more, which will really make them competitive.
p.s. the car looks gorgeous

The times just keep getting closer and closer. Being this close with a car that didn't exist only a few weeks ago is actually quite promising. We know the chassis is good and the engine builder is good. That only leaves the car's setup and the driver's skill levels to really make it a contender. It appears that they keep improving that with every session.
Competition should be pretty tough now. There should be quite a bit of traffic and that really evens times out unless you are just absolutely pathetic. It's not the car who's fastest on the first lap that counts!

PRACTICE NOTE: At the time of the red flag for the Ferrari, the No. 8 BK Motorsports Mazda was moving slowly around the course at the same time, so once both cars were cleared the practice got underway again....
More info....
At 10:26 am, red flag all. Nic Jonsson (#61-GT2 Ferrari 430GT Berlinetta) has stopped on course with a throttle problem (at turn 7). The car is in an unsafe position and will be towed off course. The team now reports there may be a radiator problem.
Also, Raphael Matos (#8-P2 Lola/B07-40/Mazda) is being towed back on the flat bed. There is no word on what happened to the car, other than apparent engine problems.
