the stock sky is running high 15's in the 1/4 while the sky redline is a low 14/high 13. 260hp and a 2900lb turbo roadster are a nice combination. rumor is the ecu is a pain in the a$$, so tuning with more boost seems to be a little more of a challenge then some of the owners thought.

Only trouble with those convertibles is, they all have one good aspect of style going for each of them, but none is fully realized like the RX8 is. They all look like they are missing something or look odd for some reason. S2000 shares the same flaw, just something about it that doesn't quite match up.
On the other hand, look at a vehicle? that has everything wrong. It is that SUV mated with a pickup truck. I don't know the name but I think Toyota makes it.
This really defies logic, but in the 30K sports car segment, the best looking one is the practical 4 seater family car with suicide doors.

The Solstice looks better and has similar performance stats, but the "intangibles" are night and day. I drove them both, great sightlines in the MX5/Miata vs. a sitting in a bathtub feelings with the Pontiac with the door sill at your ears. The Miata feels far more flick-able, the engine likes to rev more...all things a roadster / sportscar should do.
It's kinda like a real ***** vs. fake thing with me...I'll take either, but prefer the real thing.

I've seen the mags split on the issue saying the GM has more of an american feel but ultimately Mazda knows what's best for a roadster. Too bad it looks like a bar of soap on wheels.
