Mazda 3 R3 !
So I was looking around at some White R3 pictures and stumbled upon this. Apparently the guys over at MAZDA R&D in Irvine, CA wanted do something unique for SEMA with the Mazda 3... So they pretty much gave it an R3 body kit + Wheels. This shittttt looks clean! Who knows if they are gonna offer it as a package coming next year?

Well I'll be damned. That car is put together quite nicely! GOOD JOB MAZDA!... Now why couldnt they give the R3 a BIG BRAKE KIT from Stop Tech? That would have been nice.
Main concern is Mazda putting this MS3 R3 trim out there.. but will the AEM void warranty? as well as the Coilovers & BBK? Us being RX8 owners know damn well how MAZDA dealerships try voiding our warranty any change they can get. It seems they are more lenient with the MS3.

that's not some "R3" its the Mazdaspeed3 from SSEMA. That "first drive" has already been posted here before and those wheels have been on the speed3 cars before.
certainly didn't belong in the RX-8 news section, so I have moved it here.

I like the R3 wheels but I do not understand what the big deal is. They are nice but nothing special. They definitely are not worth the price Mazda charges for them. In addition there are a few wheels out there with a similar style so they are not even unique. If I owned a R3 RX8 I would still swap the wheels.

Lets just celebrate that Mazda R&D have some nice taste and maybe they can start making their production cars like this straight off the assembly line. It would definitely sell more. Especially to the younger crowd which after all are the ones picking up MS3's and MS6's. The benefits of them coming like this from the dealer are that nobody will have to worry about voiding warranty
