Mazda 6 2014 now in US- Diesel delayed, again!

The reality is, the vast majority of car drivers never exceed 50% of what a given car is capable of. They never go fast enough to push their Audi (or camry) through a corner. All they do is look at the internet and see that their Audi S6 has more torque and hp than brand x so they think they win. they brag about Audi wining La Mans with their diesel race cars and never consider that that is a mid-engine rear drive race car that gets maybe 6 miles per gallon that probably doesn't share anything with any of their production cars....

Yes. It's quite amazing to see the change on European roads since I lived there and returned often starting a couple decades ago. SUVs!? Heck, they even have to let out passengers before pulling into parking spots to have a hope of getting everyone out (then put their passenger side 15 cm from the neighboring car so they can get their selfish asses out.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see the point of showing teaser pics of a family sedan.
They did it with the Nissan Altima refresh, and I thought it was pointless then, as I do now.
Is it going to look nice when they reveal it?
Yes, it sure is.
Just show us the whole damn thing already.
Save the teaser videos for fancy new sports cars, like the new Corvette, the 2015 Miata and Alfa Romeo twins, or the replacement Z car. But not for a family sedan.
That would be like doing a teaser video for a Subaru Forester.
BC.

^It's a good thing. Mazda marketing is just trying some (for them) new ideas. Lord knows they need to stretch their legs beyond "zoom, zoom". Twenty second spots are a bit thin I'll agree, esp. in dim light lol ...but what ta hey...they've got to start somewhere.
My opinion, they should just spill the freaking beans, I mean really, as you say it's a family sedan, perhaps a sports sedan, but it'll need all the pre-press it can get, so why wait?

Everything from Mazda needs to be tease worthy or they would not be 'worth building' (Ha ha, I always found that phrase so weak but it works here. Really, everything Mazda makes should be exciting and evoke emotion.
We were told that the next 6 would have a strong dose of Shinari and then they showed us Takeri. This new 6 is sure to be sexy and as such I think teasing is in order .
Paul.

Anyone want to take a guess as to when the new Mazda6 comes out for sale in the states? I'm gambling on Q2 or Q3 of 2013.
Another option along with the CX-5 Sky-D for our return of our petrol CX-5 lease when 2013 comes along.

Did the US get CX-5 ahead or after Europe? I don't remember.

RWD.....not possible on this platform (IMHO)
