this appears to be the Sassou with some of the new Flow theme added

the sassou is the basis for the new Mazda2 which will debut later this year.

the current Mazda2 had the sort of mini SUV version called the Verisa.

this Hakaze seems to have next gen Verisa written all over it. It could indeed be the CX-5

^yea i can definutly see the resembulance. all in all not too bad looking (except the front but to each his/her own). but it looks soo much like everything else..either mazda or someone else has come out with as a concept..i'd like to see a bold departure from the norm.

that said i love the Kabura.

Yeah Charlie...its interesting to see the concepts that have their similarity from Mazda's Europe studio...the Sassou and now Hakaze

BTW...for a small car ..I don't mind the Verisa...sort of reminds of the Mini....well a little.

As we know the Verisa is only JDM.

I've always liked the the Verisa and wondered why it hasn't been brought here. The first time I saw it I thought it would be a great Mini fighter. They should also do a 2 door variant. I think they're all 4 door hatch.

Paul.
