They sold 50% more 8s????!!!!
Oh, wait. that's 50% less 8s. Guess all that money spent advertising the rx8 was a waste, huh?
my gawd, when did i become so cynical?

Man, that is NOT good for the RX-8 and our resale values. Be happy though, its no secret that margins from selling Mazda3s are being used to further development of the rotary. Jesus they sell a lot of 3s.

wait a second, theres something up there...it says they only sold 120 MPV in the year-to-day section, while last year they sold over 4,xxx...thats a huge inflation of their % when you add the total...or did i mess something up?

Very, very impressive. This is the best news I've seen in months. The 3 is taking it's rightful position and the US market is acknowledging that Mazdas are worth considering over Toyota and Honda increasingly.

What adveertising. the Mazda dealers I go to hide them in the back lot.
If your lucky they only keep one up front and ten or more of their other modles.
How do you expect to sell it when you don't show it.
What a shame.
Or should I say Muligan?

The CX-9 i s about to get more compelling. they are adding two more safety options by about mid-summer.
The first is the Blind Spot monitoring which i think i posted on before. Its the new volvo system which uses radar for watching the blind spots and then alerts you to a vehicle in that area by blinking a warning in your side mirror if you turn on your turn indicator in that direction.
The second is a new version of the Rear View camera monitoring developed by a company called Gentex
http://sev.prnewswire.com/auto/20070...4042007-1.html
When you put the CX-9 in reverse you will get the RV camera view in your homelink mirror
in any other gear the LCD screen is unsen thanks to some proprietary to Gentex optical coatings.

And yet Ford keeps saying that there's no way that they would be able to make the C1 chassis Focus a success here in the states while Mazda runs away with all the accolades.
A brilliant own-goal for FoMoCo.

Stopped by a dealer this week to pick up some parts and someone was taking a CX-9 out for a test drive. Saw some MS3s too--they were asking $3K above MSRP. Robbery!

Looks like all cars that use lots of gas are on the NOSE!
GM to stop any further RWD large engine car development...the Camaro and G8 are safe though...maybe!
