Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) and Mazda Motor Corporation (Mazda) announced that Mazda’s
plant in Mexico, currently under construction, will produce a Toyota-brand vehicle for sale mainly
in North America. The sub-compact Toyota-brand vehicle, to be based on the Mazda2, is to start
production around the summer of 2015 at a pace of 50,000 units per year and will be sold through
Toyota dealerships.

Something I never though of until this very moment in time.
Since Fiat is buying the Miata Chassis to make a new Alfa Romeo product, what would happen if they decided to also build a small Dodge/Chrysler sports car on the same chassis?
Would that be a good thing, or a bad thing, in anyone's opinion?
BC.

Who would have thought??..
I think this one is more of a 'swap deal' to do with Toyota's Hybrid Tech arrangement with Mazda.
Mazda makes some cars (Mexico), Toyota supples Hybrid Parts/Tech for Mazda (Japan).

My gf bought an '08 Roadster brand new.
She traded it in on a Fiat 500 Sport before the warranty ran out.
Chrysler paid over $20k in warranty repairs on her car. Everything from electrical, cpu's, bcm's, and finally the clutch and flywheel were the last things replaced under warranty. She's been driving manuals exclusively for 30 years, and never had a clutch failure before. This one happened at 9k miles.
BC.
