So that makes it four cars across Mazda's lineup that will have the turbo 2.3L. Thats good news for MSP6, at first I thought Mazda wasnt gonna fix the issue with the power loss, because of a possible one year run for that car, limited model, apprently i think they found the reason (too sensitive knock sensor) and are about to fix it

With so many of the cars with this turbo engine, manufacturer support will be good, as well as aftermarket

Mazda 3 with 300hp 300tq probably wont be too hard for the aftermarket guys. I think stock MSP6 is hitting above 300tq already. Great straight line car, but it'd burn the tires up in smokes in corners haha

Why stop at four cars? It would be cool if Mazda sticks that 2.3L turbo in a MS Miata and/or a production Kabura.

Let's just hope they still have a powerful MS RX-8 coming for the rotary faithful as well.

They've gone crazy with turbo... if they ever release a MS miata and RX-8, most likely they'll be turbo-ed as well.

As Mazda dont have a V6 of their own, only way they can get more power is turbo. Released four of them this year, are they currently the top Japanese car manufactuerer with the most turbo-ed cars ? Lets just hope they are reliable, as it might hurt them down the road. They should probably look into designing a V6 of their own, and not use Ford's.

But hey, if they can price this MS3 relatively cheap, it'd sure draw a crowd much larger than MS6 family sedan. Honda ricers would sure love the word "turbo", maybe Mazda will turn into the next rice brand =D (maybe not as we dont have VTEC)

It'll be interesting to see what they come up with next, MS Miata? Kabura? Senku? MS RX-8? As well as a redesign Mazda 6, Camry will probably have some strong sales for the 07 model with the exciting new look

P.S. Just realized this, as for all the MS models, they released the MS version in their 3rd or 4th year into one generation(Mazda 3, 6), and RX-8 is going into its 3rd year, if we ever get a MS RX-8, it'll probably come next year

i don't really care that much about the possible upcoming Mazdaspeed rx8s. after having my 8, i have become so addicted to rotaries. even though i drive a 8, i dream for the FD. so am just going to keep this car with some easy mods and save up money for the new RX7s
