MazdaSpeed 7 rendering

Saw this over on the Scion FR-S forum from a fellow member named WingsofWar and thought it was pretty decent, esp. the front. Sort of looks to be a mid engine design. What do you guys think?

Those door sills would be wider than those on an Exige... Obsurd. Also, it just isn't pretty.

There's way too much going on in the front... it's alright from a glance, but once you start really looking at the car, it's just too much.

I hope it comes true. It would be one of the nicest sports car you'll see on the road.

Mazda USA Design Boss Speaks Kodo, Not Nagare

I really don't want to come down on these guys too much, but are talking cars or opening a new age meditation center? In summary, “We needed a stronger front identity”, now that's novel.

All the wavy lines and 'front identity' in the world can't compensate for the fact Mazda offers no closed top sports car ... tellingly there are no known prototypes, no concepts being leaked, no anything known at all... except a few words. That's says it all. More cars, less mumbo jumbo.

Reminds me of a road going version of the Furai.

I'd drive the **** out of it, but I'm tired of seeing everything in CCW Classics.
