Most boring car on the road?

What do you guys think is the most boring car on the road? I hate, hate, HATE the Camry. It's amazing to see how this is one of the best selling cars when there's nothing really special about it. Every model they've come out with has looked like crap. I can see that it's a practical, affordable car, but so is the Altima and Accord. The Accord styling isn't that great either but then again it's better than the Camry. And there's also the Mazda 6 which looks so much better than these sedans right now. But I can't figure out when people are shopping around for a new car and they have enough money for the 4 mentioned above, and in the end, they just say "ahh I'll take the camry." It's so bland! Do these buyers have no taste at all? What do you guys think?

I think the camry takes it. It has gotten a little better styling with this last turn (looking like its Lexus big brother in some repects) but when i see the camry i think.......

Plain vanilla ice-cream....no sprinkles.....no cherries.....not even a handjob.

Its so blah!

Runner up maybe Ford Focus?

Camry, Accord, or Civic- they all pretty much blur into one if you ask me. So many cars now look exactly like every other car on the road- I HATE that...

Yea, all the Japanese sedans look too similar to one another. Anyone see the new Galant yet? Looks like a carbon copy of the new Maxima, which looks like S to begin with.

Yup the Camry is definetly UP there. I sat in one at a dealer (Looking at cars in that price range), it made me ILL!

The seats were made for lard *** grandpas. (No offence to grandpas, or lard asses, I hope).

It was just Blah! At least the Accord has some style on the interior.

the Camry is far more exciting than a base model Corolla... that kills it, hands down, for boredom factor.

You guys probably find the Camry "boring" because you guys are so bored of seeing them ! There are so many of them on the road !

But the Camry IS very very comfortable to drive, (so you can definitely say it is boring to drive) its almost like riding on a train. Its not a driver's car for sure but hey, there aren't many of us driver drivers out there. Most people just wanted to get from point A to point B as "uneventfully" as possible. Hence, one of the best selling cars around and, that's why Toyota is the one of the biggest fish in the water.

I don't think it's cause I see so many around. Even if I saw one a month I still would hate the styling. I know many people just need a car thats practical but there are so many other choices that aren't as bland. The Altima looks really nice and you can get that cheap, the same goes for the 6.

Ford Taurus (sp), that car has no soul whatsoever. This car is the definition of "it gets me from a to b". Nothing wrong with that, if thats your thing, but it's a pretty boring car, IMHO.

Cool Boooooring...

SATURN.
You have to look at what it's NOT -
not fast,
not good looking,
not 'safer',
not big,
not cheap,
not nimble,
not even economical,
not stylish,
not quiet,
not a smooth ride,
not reliable,
not even liked by Consumer Reports!
.....I just can't even imagine the question, that 'Saturn' is the answer to!

The Taurus has been discontinued. That's a really boring car. The SHO model made it look a little better but I don't know who would want to drive a sporty Taurus anyway. My friend used to own a '94 2 door Saturn, I believe it was the SC model. Really a big piece of crap but he loved it at the time and drove it like it was a sports car :D

Obviously you've never driven a SHO. That is one of the most kick-*** sports sedans ever made- when I was in high school I used to stop-light race (yes, I was stupid in high-school) everything in sight, and won most every time. My family's now on it's second SHO, and it STILL beats the pants off most cars, handling and otherwise, even though it's now 8 years old. Now, the taurus on the other hand- not looking forward to giving up the Boxster tomorrow and going back to the station wagon till my 8 gets here. Ugh. I could drive it with my eyes shut.

And Wakeech is right- I forgot to add the Corolla to my list. I also find most Lexi (what is the plural for lexus?) look pretty similar.

I've been in a Buick once before. The speedometer gauge are these huge digital numbers. Supposedly so the grandparents that drive them can see how slow they're going.

Thumbs down

The Taurus SHO's motor was built by Yamaha, not Kawasaki.

Totally agree. My mother used to drive one and it was soooo boring. Didn't Chevy make a supercharged version of this car but it wasn't for sale? Sorta like what Ford did with the Contour. If so it wouldve made it a little better.
