They went with the 4-door Civic to keep the original enthusiaists (from the late 90's) by offering more room to fit their kids or their life. Personally, I think the 4-door looks better...like a baby Acura.

Europeans usually go for the wagon/hatch look (which seems to be a popular body style for rallying). And just like the Civic sedan, the age of the target market has spread out to parents up to their late 20's, so they need a more practical vehicle. FYI the new STI will be only be offered as a 4-door hatch.

Whose needs a baby Acura? For 30k you could have a regular Acura.

No car should ever be photographed with KDW's. Those are the fugliest tires ever produced.

Is it just me, or do they look like mud tires?

I like the look of the KDW's, but why wouldn't they show a picture of the tires the car is supposed to come with from the factory?
