The only reason this might be close is that the Caddy is used.
If the Caddy checks out mechanically, get the CTS-V. The TL is essentailly a nice Accord, not a bad car, but not a baaad assss car either. The Caddy has style, though I am not entirely fond of it, and it has that baaad assss Corvette derrived V8.
Good luck.

thanks for all the kind words to everyone. I ended up purchasing a Acura TL, 6 spd w/Nav, Black w/Grey Interior for the out the door price of $33K. I know most ppl liked the CTS-V, however the dealership told me they just replaced the rear differential which is a huge problem w/the CTS-V. This made me leary of purchasing the car as I did not know if this would be a recurring problem or not. Anyhoo, I will likely keep the car only 3 years max and get whatever new model cars are out in 3 years, maybe mitsu evo X?? I sent PMs to those interested in the wheels and extra tires. I'm thinking $200 for all 4 wheels w/TPMS and $100 for the 2 extra tires (I paid $120), does that sound like a fair deal? Honestly, IF I had extra money, a dealership in the area is selling a 05 Vette for $44.5K w/Nav and 10k mileage....if only!!

Dank I had an 04 CTS-V and it was spanking new. I had nothing but problems with it. Had the engine mounts replace at 6k. The car is fast as hell but many problems. I also have a Deville, Escalade and a 350z, oh do not forget my RX8. Out of all my cars the 350Z and the 8 are the least of my problems. The CTS-V was always in the shop. Just imagine all that power, something has to give. I sold it and got 38k for it. I personally never buy GM. I love my 8 and the Z. You might wanna wait for the new 8 or how about a G35? Acura is good but does not look sporty. Corvette---too costly.

I'm familiar with that area and you're right, it almost never floods there. I think the last time it did was with Hurricane Agnes back in the early 70's. As an indicator, my sis-in-law who lives out in Front Royal said that in the recent rain, in a 4-day period her rain gauge measure 17 inches of rain!
