Astonmartin Db5 is my favorite car of all time. but i must say this car is really sexy. kind of reminds me of the DB5. i how they used the old school british car, but with modern day look. i love the TVR sageras (sp), but this car looks classic. kinda like audrey hepburn classic .

The Wiesmann GT MF4 Roadster is expected to make a first public appearance at the 2009 Geneva International Motor Show this March. This comes hot on the heels of an announcement that the GT MF4 with an added S-designation will now get an additional engine, the 420hp (309 kW) 4.0-litre V8 currently employed in the E92 BMW M3.
It follows the MF3 roadster which is also powered by an M3 powerplant, the 3.2-litre straight six from the previous E46 generation M3. Since the multi-award winning 343hp (252 kW) 3.2-litre unit went out of production with the last Z4 M, it is speculated that Wiesmann has no choice but to discontinue the MF3 roadster and replace it with the MF4 Roadster.
The addition of this new 4.0-litre V8 increases the Wiesmann lineup significantly. As it stands there is the old GT MF4 with a BMW 4.8 V8 making 367hp (270kW), an MF4 GT-S already available with the 4.0-litre V8 as well as the GT MF5. The latter is fitted with the 5.0-litre V10 found in the in M5 and M6. A GT MF4 Coupe and Roadster would utilise both the 4.8 V8 and 4.0-litre M3 V8.
Accompanying the MF4 GT-S is a choice between a manual transmission and a double-clutch system. Driver and passenger airbags are now also included with the all Wiesmann cars.
i belive ths car is made in Germany.

wow that is a nice looking car. The front grill seems a bit out of place on the car. Maybe a smaller grill might look better. Still very nice looking car.
So, when is the 8club expect to see the wedding invitation

Transam kid.
Didn't you read the article? It already has the same HP as a GM Iron out of only 4.0 litres! Why would you put pushrods into such a beautiful car? Nevermind the beautiful BMW M3 sound...

Really? LOL. The 1st thing that I though of when seeing this was the episode of family guy where Peter gets a sports car with a really long hood(shaped like a shlong) to compensate for his lack of endowment.
Not trying to be a jerk. Just not so much my taste.

As far as sound goes, I drool anytime I hear an LSx with long tube headers and a cat back.
O and then there is the fact that I am biased towards the LSx series.

Exceptionally beautiful car there mate. Exceptionally.
Modern people are not used to seeing such curves on a car, and hence may declare it ugly. But personally, the Jag E-Type and the Aston Martin DB5 are some of the most beautiful cars ever made. They were sexy, not manly, rakish, or anything else. They remind you of the curves on a female body.
Congratulations on ownership of a piece of art.
Oh, and as for the LSx comment, whenever you can convince Weissman that the LSx is superior, we may consider getting one. Until then, there's no point telling us. No one is going to rape their car so soon after buying it by stuffing a pushrod engine from the Old Testament into it.

back on topic. The picture may not do justice for the car but maybe if we see in person it be surprising. I had the same thought when I first saw the 8 in pictures, but when I actually see in person the line kind of grows on me.
